To our SBPC Community,

After years of organizing, advocating, and standing together in the fight for justice, the Santa Barbara Progressive Coalition officially concluded its work in late 2021. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every activist, volunteer, and supporter who has been part of this movement. Whether you attended a rally, made calls, knocked on doors, or simply helped spread the message, your dedication made a real impact.

As part of this transition, our website and social media channels will soon be discontinued. While SBPC is no longer active, the fight for progressive change continues, and we urge you to stay engaged. There are many organizations in our community that are still pushing for bold policies, protecting vulnerable communities, and resisting the forces of injustice. We encourage you to support and get involved with:

• Santa Barbara County Democratic Party – Electing progressive leaders and mobilizing for key issues.
• Planned Parenthood Central Coast Action Fund – Defending reproductive rights and healthcare access.
• Indivisible Santa Barbara – Mobilizing against right-wing extremism and strengthening grassroots democracy.
• Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy (CAUSE) – Fighting for economic, racial, and environmental justice.
• SURJ Santa Barbara (Showing Up for Racial Justice) – Working to dismantle white supremacy through local organizing.
• 805 UndocuFund – Providing financial relief and support to undocumented families in the region.
• Immigrant Legal Defense Center – Offering legal aid to immigrants and advocating for immigrant rights.
• Santa Barbara Tenant’s Union – Organizing for tenant rights, rent control, and housing justice.

While SBPC has come to an end, the spirit of our movement lives on through all of you. Keep showing up, keep pushing for progress, and keep fighting for a better world.
